Privacy policy

This policy explains what Garnet Web Works ("we") collects through garnetwebworks.com and the GarnetRX client dashboard, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, business name, email, and optionally your phone, website, town and message. We use it only to reply to you and prepare your review or quote.
• GarnetRX accounts: your name, email, a securely hashed password, the messages you send and the files you upload.
• Search data for clients: with your permission, we read your website's Google Search Console data (clicks, impressions, search queries, positions) to show it in your dashboard and write your reports.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to limit spam on the contact form.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in and to protect forms against forgery. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting network and security), Google (Search Console data and email delivery), and Anthropic (to help draft written progress reports from your search numbers; only the numbers and report notes are sent). We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept while they're useful for following up. Client data, messages and files are kept while you're a client and deleted on request afterwards.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to disconnect your Search Console data, by contacting us or calling (936) 253-2827.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS only, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and each client can only see its own data and files.

If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
